"Rivus aims to solve Europe's battery dependence - now the gothenburg firm scales up"

1776882211298 “In simple terms, we store energy in two liquids made of organic molecules, water and salt.” - paraphrased from the article

Rivus Batteries is featured in a recent industry piece by Impact Loop 🇸🇪 and Teknikföretagen on the next generation of Swedish technology companies.

The article captures the core idea behind our approach: substituting imported critical metals with an organic chemistry to enable a European value chain for energy storage - without the complexity of new gigafactories.

Built on abundant, locally available inputs, our metal-free flow battery chemistry is designed for C&I, grid, resilience and data centre applications. As the market evolves, flow batteries are also gaining traction - including Europe’s largest flow battery project to date at 2.1 GWh currently under construction for a data centre in Switzerland.

Because in the end, energy storage only matters at scale if it is deployable, resilient and cost-competitive.

Grateful for the recognition, and focused on what comes next.
