We’re happy to announce that Dr. Viktor Gueskine has joined Rivus Batteries as Lead Scientist, Flow Battery Electrolytes.
Viktor brings over 40 years of research and development experience in chemistry and molecular design. He has led research at Université de Mons (Belgium) and most recently worked as First Research Engineer at Linköping University, where he focused on flow batteries in practice. His deep expertise in chemistry, molecular modeling, and advanced R&D is a perfect fit to accelerate Rivus’ mission of developing organic, water-based electrolytes for the next generation of flow batteries.
During the recruitment process, Viktor impressed us not only with his technical excellence, but also with his genuine passion for deep scientific work. Already, his positive energy and extensive knowledge have brought value to our team.
At Rivus, Viktor will drive the scientific development of our organic electrolytes - focusing on durability and reliability under real operating conditions and scalable manufacturability, in close collaboration with European suppliers and partners.
